Scenography : "My uncle's attic"

Introduced at the National Antiques and Decorative Arts Fair in Angers, (France), the scenography "My uncle's attic" by the Galerie Palindrome represents an accumulation of 50's French furniture and invites the spectator to discover a dusty attic where emblematic pieces of this period (lamps, tables and chairs) would have been relegated. My uncle's attic expresses the idea that, during the 50's, design furniture were popular and that they can now be found in attics, forgotten for a while and rediscovered today. The furniture exposed in its original condition is signed by great designers of the 50's : Pierre Guariche, Marcel Gascoin, Janine Abraham, Mathieu Matégot, René Gabriel, Pierre Paulin...
